The Gwen P. Aldridge Institutional Effectiveness Award
The 2014 Conference is the inaugural year for the Gwen P. Aldridge Institutional Effectiveness Award. We honor our outstanding member and past president with this award in her name for her leadership and advancement in the field of institutional research for community colleges.
Outstanding Paper Award
SACCR honors papers that exemplify the highest standards in research methods. Dr. Stephanie King, Assistant Professor in the Department of Leadership and Foundations in the College of Education at Mississippi State University, chairs the committee for the selection of this prestigious award.

2014 Recipient – Mr. James E. Maccariella, Jr
James is a Ph.D. student at Old Dominion University in Virginia. His paper was titled “Assessment of Research Methods used to Identify Indicators for Engineering Student Success.” We thank James for his contribution to the field and wish him continued success with his program of study.
State Attendance Awards
SACCR honors the state with the largest annual conference attendance. Mrs. Rosemary Craven Lamb, Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and SACS Liaison at Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead, Mississippi, serves as the At-Large Member for Membership. Edith Carter Outstanding Service Award
The award is in recognition of those individuals who have demonstrated exemplary service and have actively supported the goals of the Southeastern Association for Community College Research and is restricted to members or former members who have exhibited professional leadership and outstanding service to SACCR.
